Refusing to accept the fact that change is necessary for growth has slowed my progression on a many occasions. I was too busy trying to be who I wanted to be and refusing to let go of who I was, not realizing that the two persons simply cannot exist in the same space at the same time.
I unintentionally granted people, places, and things access to my energy causing me to be the biggest bottleneck to my own success. I made myself too accessible to family, friends, co-workers, and some associates who weren't accessible to me. Once I realized that my growth was dependent upon me protecting who had access to my energy, I started to see clearly the road of progress.
If your progression is slow, CHANGE the way you think. CHANGE your accessibility. CHANGE who or what drains your batteries, but for the sake of your own sanity CHANGE for your own progressive self.
